Melvin R. Hall

Melvin Ray Hall, 60, Ramsey, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Jan. 18, 1948, in New Albany, he was the son of the late Frank and Lila Riley Hall.
He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, the former Diane M. Nolan; three sons, Mark Hall of New Albany and David and Larry Harris, both of Ramsey; four daughters, Chrystal Cunningham of Davenport, Fla., Michelle Cullins of Ramsey, Rebecca Payne of Pekin and Jacqueline Conley of New Salisbury; three brothers, Hubert Hall of Louisville, Glenn Hall of New Albany and James Hall of Asgertown, Pa.; a sister, Brenda Ransdell of New Salisbury; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Wood’s Chapel Cemetery near Ramsey.
Officiant: Pastor Mark Avery.
Pallbearers: Michael Hall, Michael Ransdell, Danny Payne, John Conley, and Larry and Gary Harris.
