William T. Collins

William T. (W.T.) Collins, 84, Floyds Knobs, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at his home.
A native of Columbia, Ky., he was a decorated Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, retired from Ford Motor Co., board president of the Hour of Power Mission, past president of Silver Heights Camp Grounds and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher.
He was preceded in death by Birdie Mae Collins.
Survivors include two sons, Travis Collins of Atlanta, Ga., and Gary Collins of New Albany; two brothers; a sister; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes with interment in Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Ky.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hour of Power Mission, Rockbridge Methodist Church in Shelbyville, Main Street United Methodist Church, Gideon’s or the Salvation Army.
