Earl E. Wright

Earl Eugene (Burr) Wright, 59, Marengo, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Nov. 16, 1948, in Crawford County, he was the son of the late Elvin Eugene and Mary Margaret Judd Wright.
He was a former lineman for Electricom Co.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Cecil Laswell, and a grandmother, Betty Judd.
Survivors include a son, Richard E. Wright of Corydon; a daughter, Yvonne L. Dalton of Marengo; three brothers, Vance Young of Kentucky and Timothy and Leslie (Hot Rod) Laswell, both of Marengo; a sister, Henrietta Crowe of Indianapolis; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral: Friday, Jan. 11, at the Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown with interment in Highfill Chapel Church Cemetery near Taswell.
Officiant: The Rev. Bobby J. Kelly.
Pallbearers: Richard Atwood, Bernard Combs, Jim Elliott, John Elliott, Ray Elliott, Kenneth Judd, Tommy Wright and Devin Young.
