David (Marty) Mudd, 59, Depauw, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Aug. 23, 1948, in Depauw, he was the son of Mary Margaret Moss Mudd of Depauw and the late Francis David Mudd.
He was a truck driver for Tyson Foods in Corydon for 28 years and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his mother, survivors include two daughters, Brandi Leigh Mudd and Missy Elmore, both of Brandon, Miss.; a son, Brian David Mudd of Brandon; four brothers, Michael Mudd of Depauw, Gene Mudd of Milltown, Don Mudd of English and Randy Mudd of Missouri; and a step-grandchild.
Visitation: Monday, Jan. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 15, after 8 a.m. at Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown.
Funeral: Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment in Milltown Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Lloyd B. Roberts.
Military graveside rites: Performed by members of Milltown American Legion Post 332.
Pallbearers: Bobby Feller, Roger Fessel, Derrick Mudd, Pete Mudd, Phil Walton and Fred Snyder.
