Lester Curl

Lester Curl, 67, English, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at 3 p.m. at his home.
Born May 30, 1940, in Perry County, he was the son of the late Edward (Doc) Curl and Florence Mae Speedy.
He was an Army veteran and retired from OFS Brands in Huntingburg.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Curl.
Survivors include his wife of six years, the former Helen Ingle; two children, Juliet Underhill of English and Rebecca Davis of Ramsey; nine stepchildren, Fabian Ingle of Jasper, Paul Ingle of Bretzville, James Ingle of French Lick, David and Jeremy Ingle, both of Celestine, Lisa Himsel of Haysville, Lucinda Cremeans and Tonya Ingle, both of Petersburg, and Samantha Masters of Otwell; two brothers, Dallas Curl of Corydon and Ray Curl of English; four sisters, Inez Haskins and Rose Sprinkle, both of New Albany, Juanita Forbes of Orleans and Loma Morgan of Richland; five grandchildren; 25 step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 9, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 10, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Bethany Union Cemetery.
Officiant: Al Madden.
