Marion L. Gardner

Marion L. Gardner, 83, New Albany, died Monday evening, Dec. 17, 2007, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.
A lifelong resident of New Albany, she was a homemaker, a member of 18th Street Mission in New Albany and was involved for many years with the World Gospel Mission.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. Gardner, in January 1999; three sisters, Donna Johnson, Norma Darst and Jeannie Yarbrough; two brothers, Bud and Bob Wright; and a great-grandchild.
Survivors include two sons, Gary W. Gardner of Liberty, Mo., and Mark A. Gardner of New Albany; a daughter, Karen L. Grimsley of Marengo; two brothers, the Rev. Jim Wright and Bill Wright; three sisters, Betty Quick, Wilma Hudson and Judy Kost; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Friday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook-Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park, both in New Albany.
Officiant: The Rev. Leslie Grimsley.
