Charles W. King Jr.

Charles W. (Chuck) King Jr., 77, Depauw, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, in Atlantis, Fla.
Born April 14, 1930, in Laconia, he was the son of the late Charles W. Sr. and Rosalie Bailey King.
He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War, a retired millwright from the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, and a member of Milltown American Legion Post 332, Floyd County VFW Post 3281 and Okeechobee (Fla.) Family Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, the former Virginia L. Barnes; two sons, John R. King of New Salisbury and Kenneth R. King of Depauw; a daughter, Suzy A. Jeffries of Hardinsburg; a stepson, Robert Boes of New Albany; a sister, Olga Jean Kaiser of Bowling Green, Ky.; two grandsons; five step-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Friday, Dec. 7, after 11 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Friday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cremation was chosen.
