John W. Hahn Jr.

John William Hahn Jr., 72, Laconia, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at his home.
Born Sept. 23, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late John William Sr. and Tina Harvey Hahn.
He was retired from LG&E in Louisville, was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, the former Janice Faye Murphy; two daughters, Barbara Elie and Vickie Hahn, both of Mansford, Mich.; two stepdaughters, Shannon Lyles of New Albany and Sheila Anderson of Finley, Ohio; a stepson, Shawn Whiteman of New Albany; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Visitation: Sunday, Nov. 25, from 1 to 5 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 26, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Otterbein Cemetery near Laconia.
Officiant: Elder Squirrel Murphy.
Pallbearers: Danny and Corey Murphy, Scott Daily and Squirrel Murphy.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
