Cora Brown, 86, Corydon, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at Rolling Hills Health Care Center in New Albany.
Born April 8, 1921, in Jeremiah, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Billie and Phoeba Caudill.
She was formerly employed at Arpac in Corydon and was a member of Lone Valley Old Regular Baptist Church in Speed.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Brown; three brothers, Arla, Corbit and Monroe Caudill; two sisters, Mattie Whitaker and Hettie Witt; and a grandson, Darrin Brown.
Survivors include three sons, Darrell Brown of Corydon, W. Larry Brown of Ocala, Fla., and Wayne Brown of Homosassa, Fla.; two daughters, Clara Crowe of Louisville and Carol Daugherty of Milltown; a brother, Clyde Caudill of Louisville; a sister, Bernice Back of St. Paris, Ohio; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Nov. 24, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 25, after noon at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Sunday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association.
