Charles L. Manship, 65, Paoli, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at 12:45 a.m. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Feb. 17, 1942, in Valeene, he was the son of the late Emmett Earl Manship and Helen Gertrude Busick Manship.
He was a retired truck driver for Paoli Inc. and a member of Valeene Wesleyan Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Phillip, Wayne, Ralph and Teddy Glen Manship; two sisters, Wanda Thomas and Margie Sprinkle; and a grandson, Joshua Hickman.
Survivors include his wife of two years, Linda Manship; three daughters, Rita Crandall of Orleans, Jayne Trinkle of Hardinsburg and Rhonda White of Paoli; two sons, David and Charlie Manship, both of Hardinsburg; two sisters, Sharron Dooley of Hardinsburg and Joyce Fulkerson of Lanesville; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Nov. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.
Funeral: Sunday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Valeene Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Harvey McAdams.
