Donald P. McKim
Donald P. McKim, 83, Clarksville, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.
A native of Corydon, he was a retired welder for the old Naval Ordnance, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Morton Memorial United Methodist Church, Clark Masonic F&AM Lodge 40, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Murat Shrine, Tri-County Shrine Club and the Clark County Scottish Rite Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Jacie Shickles; his parents, Pat and Myrtle LaHue McKim; and a grandson, John McKim.
Survivors include three sons, Burrell McKim of Bardstown, Ky., Everett McKim of Jeffersonville and Lester McKim of Clarksville; two daughters, Karen Embry of Clarksville and Cindy Mills of Kaufman, Texas; a brother, Ralph McKim of Naples, Fla.; his companion, Norma Carver of Corydon; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Nov. 23, from noon to 8 p.m., with a Masonic service that evening, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 24, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
