Charles W. Wilson

Charles William Wilson, 75, Georgetown, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at his home.
Born Oct. 18, 1932, in Leitchfield, Ky., he was the son of the late Gilbert and Lillie Langdon Wilson.
He was an Army veteran, a retired employee of Seagrams Distillery, owner and operator of Wilmac Roof and Guttering in New Albany, a member of American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28, and served on the advisory board of Georgetown Township.
Survivors include his wife, the former Melvinia Hack; two sons, Gilbert William Wilson of New Albany and Chris Allen Wilson of Henryville; a daughter, Joy Eileen Goldman of Clarksville; two brothers, Bobby and Philip Wilson, both of Louisville; two sisters, Barbara Dunn of Shepherdsville, Ky., and Opal Lee Hinton of New Middletown, Ky.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 14, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.
Officiant: The Rev. Beverly Perry.
Pallbearers: Callita Gullion, Catrina Condra, Melanie Wendell, Michelle Wilson, Gilbert Wilson Jr. and Amanda Hyatt.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association.
