Doris M. McLain

Doris M. (Margie) McLain, 85, Corydon, formerly of English, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at 1:15 p.m. at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
Born May 16, 1922, in West Fork, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Johnson and Myrtle Goldman.
She was a beautician in the English area for 30 years and a member of Hillview Christian Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry McLain, in 1987; a son, Terry McLain; and a sister, Wilma Criswell.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mary McLain Qualters of English, who cared for her; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 9, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Friday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Mather’s Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Bob Kelly.
