Gerald M. Dunn

Gerald M. Dunn, 69, Paoli, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at 12:05 a.m. at his home.
Born Aug. 1, 1938, in Lawrence County, he was the son of the late Lawrence Omar Dunn and Ada Ellen Moore Dunn.
He was a member of the VFW post in Paoli.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a grandson.
Survivors include his wife, the former Hazel Marie Payton; four sons, Gerald Duane Dunn, Gerald (Shorty) Dunn and Gerald Lawrence Dunn, all of Paoli, and Robert C. Dunn of Fallschurch, Va.; a stepson, Leonard Mink of Paoli; five daughters, Jean Hughes of English, and Ann Shoults, Penny Patton, Bonnie Compton and Cindy Piper, all of Paoli; two brothers, Lawrence Omar Dunn and Robert Dunn, both of Paoli; three sisters, Rosie Florence of Fredericksburg, and Ellen Sturgeon and Alice Crouse, both of Paoli; 28 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Oct. 25, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 26, after 9 a.m. at Kemple Funeral Home in Paoli.
Funeral: Friday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Community Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Philo Jones.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
