Glenn A. Funk, 87, Jeffersonville, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at Providence Retirement Home.
Born Oct. 11, 1919, in Harrison County, he was an Army veteran of World War II, a 41-year employee of the federal government and a member of Faith Assembly Church in Jeffersonville for more than 52 years.
He was preceded in death by two infant sons, Samuel and Daniel Funk; a brother, Carl Funk; and a sister, Peggy Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, the former Ruby Scharrer; two sons, Richard Funk of Leavenworth and David Funk of Sellersburg; two daughters, Deborah Woods and Brenda Smith, both of Charlestown; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 13, at Faith Assembly Church with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
Arrangements: Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
