Vera E. Worrell

Vera E. Worrell, 88, Corydon, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at 9:50 p.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Oct. 23, 1918, in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Monroe Russell and Daisy Leona Baker Russell.
She was retired as a hand sander from Smith Cabinet Co. and was a member of Salem Assembly of God church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Worrell, and three brothers.
Survivors include a son, Gary Stucker of Salem; two daughters, Betty Smith of Borden and Linda Goodrich of Owenton, Ky.; a sister, Sarah Hughes of Salem; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 10, after 9 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem.
Funeral: Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Claysville Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor George Key.
