Annis C. Booth

Annis Catherine Stevens Booth, 89, Corydon died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born April 1, 1918, in Laconia, she was the daughter of the late Straud and Myrtle McKim Eckart.
She was formerly employed at H.A. Seinsheimer’s in New Albany and was a member of Hope Wesleyan Holiness Church near Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Stevens and Howard Booth, and a brother, Kelso Eckart.
Survivors include a son, Herbert Stevens of Paoli; two daughters, Phyllis Arnott of Edwardsville and Karen Jones of New Salisbury; three brothers, Estel Eckart of Greentown, Creston Eckart of Indianapolis and Bobby Eckart of Corydon; a sister, Sara (Bonnie) Brown of Corydon; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Oct. 8, from 3 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 9, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, both in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Dan Eckart.
Pallbearers: Shawn Jones, Wesley Huff, Chris, Ben and Joshua Stevens and Jerry Eckart.
