Clematine L. Schneider

Clematine L. Schneider, 84, Corydon, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Katrina’s Elderly Care in Corydon.
Born Oct. 29, 1922, in Elizabeth, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Suzanna Eisenmenger Schoen.
She was a homemaker, and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville, the Lanesville Heritage Committee and the Dorcas Circle.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melba Carter, and four sisters, Lelia Blank, Norma Richert, Theodora Ovington and Luella Richards.
Survivors include her husband, Paul H. Schneider; three sons, Keith of Springfield, Va., Barry of Franklin, Tenn., and Glenn of Lanesville; two daughters, Joann Rakestraw and Rita Brewington, both of Corydon; two sisters, Hermina Laduke and Alma Menges; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Sunday, Sept. 30, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in St. John’s Cemetery near Lanesville.
Pallbearers: Keith Schneider, Barry Schneider, Glenn Schneider, Chad Schneider, Clint Schneider, Troy Schneider, Todd Schneider, Jason Schneider, Travis Schneider, Zac Schneider, Greg Rakestraw, Jeremy Albers, Justin Stilger and Nathan Stilger.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the St. John’s Lutheran Church General Fund.
