Mildred M. Sprinkle

Mildred Marie Sprinkle, 91, Leavenworth, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at 8:25 a.m. at Todd-Dickey Nursing Home in Leavenworth.
Born Nov. 19, 1915, in Cape Sandy, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Bills and Ollie East.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a past secretary and treasurer.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Sprinkle, on Dec. 14, 1982, and three brothers, Donald, Rudolph and Wesley Sprinkle.
Survivors include two sons, Myron Sprinkle of Tell City, and Darrell Sprinkle of Leavenworth; a brother, Willard Bills of Leavenworth; a sister, Olene Cox of Jeffersonville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Sept. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 29, after 9 a.m. at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in the East Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Brian Vincent.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
