Zelbert (Glen) Brown, 98, English, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at 7:45 p.m. at his home.
Born Oct. 13, 1908, he was the son of the late Richard Brown and Sarah Jane Enlow.
He was a retired farmer and was a member of Mifflin Community Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, the former Dorotha Smith, in 2004; a brother, Seldon Brown; and a sister, Edith.
Survivors include two sons, Jackie Brown of Avon and Karl Brown of English; two daughters, Mary Ann Nixon and Arletta Hughes, both of English; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Sept. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 25, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Mifflin Cemetery.
Officiants: Brother Tom Nixon and the Revs. Tilden Jones and Don Walker.
