Forrest R. Neely

Forrest R. (Dickie) Neely, 93, Corydon, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Dec. 8, 1913, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Walter and Julia Reas Neely.
He was a retired tax agent for the Internal Revenue Service in Louisville, an owner-driver in the harness racing industry, and a member of the Horseman’s Association, Crandall Masonic Lodge and Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
Survivors include his wife, the former Fern Cline.
Visitation: Thursday, Sept. 20, 6 to 8 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 21, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.; and after 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Graveside service: Saturday, Sept. 22, 11 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Douglas Finney.
Pallbearers: Paul Cunningham, Stewart Kopp, Donald Mathes, Paul Reas and Charles Hurst.
Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon handled arrangements.
Memorial gifts: to his church.
