Charles J. Seitz

Charles J. Seitz, 92, Pekin, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at Heritage House of Salem.
A native of Louisville, he was the son of the late John J. and Emma Reinhardt Seitz.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, retired from the old General Plywood Co. in New Albany and a life member of DAV Post 72 in Salem.
Survivors include a son, Don Seitz of Sterling Heights, Mich.; two stepdaughters, Wilma Conrad of Depauw and Sharon Purlee of Pekin; a brother, Albert Seitz of New Albany; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Friday, Sept. 7, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Blue River Church of Christ Cemetery at Depauw.
Officiant: Stephen Purlee.
Organist: Dianne Wininger.
Pallbearers: David, Roy, Stephen and Weston Purlee, Josh Starrett and Steve Moore.
