Mary L. Jackson

Mary Louise (Lu) Jackson, 73, Jeffersonville, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at her home.
A native of Louisville, she was the former Mary Louise Childers.
She was a retired office manager for Stewart’s Dry Goods in Louisville, a former secretary for the United Methodist Women’s Southern District, and a member of Tri Kappa sorority, Fortnightly and Trinity United Methodist Church in New Albany, where she was active with the handbell choir.
Survivors include her husband, William A. Jackson; a son, Don Jackson of Louisville; two daughters, Barbara Hiller of Corydon and Elizabeth Jackson of Windermere, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. at the church. Arrangements: Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Trinity United Methodist Church Window Fund or Hospice of Southern Indiana.
