Orville Sprayberry Sr.

Orville Sprayberry Sr., 66, Corydon, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Aug. 24, 1940, in Elizabeth, he was the son of the late Irvin and Mary Langsdon Sprayberry.
He was a maintenance worker for the old Keller Manufacturing Co. in Corydon and Hobarts in Louisville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Sprayberry Sr., and a sister, Helen Reed.
Survivors include two sons, Orville Sprayberry Jr. and Scott Yocum, both of Corydon; three sisters, Dorothy Howard of Elizabeth and Katherine Best and Martha Cabiness, both of Laconia; a friend, Shirley Sturgeon of Corydon who cared for him; and three grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Aug. 17, after 10 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Aug. 17, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with private burial.
Officiant: The Rev. Alvin Wilson.
