Pamela D. Sorrell

Pamela Dee Sorrell, 40, Borden, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. Born Dec. 30, 1966, in Corydon, she was the daughter of Larry and Patricia Rowland Mays of Corydon.
She was a special education teacher’s aide at East Washington Elementary School in Pekin and a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Jeffersonville.
Survivors besides her parents include her husband, Robert B. Sorrell; two daughters, Catherine and Hannarose Sorrell, both at home; a brother, Donald Mays of Corydon; and grandparents, Rosa Rowland of Corydon and Howard and Mary Mays of Madison.
Visitation: Thursday, Aug. 9, from 1 to 8 p.m. and after Friday, Aug. 10, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Jennifer Mills-Knutsen.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
