Mildred J. Purcell

Mildred J. Purcell, 90, Irving, Ill., formerly of Floyds Knobs, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at St. Frances Hospital in Litchfield, Ill.
Born Jan. 28, 1917, in Crawford County, she was the daughter of the late Nova and Amzel Pearson Seaton.
She was a retired factory employee.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Purcell; two brothers, John W. and Richard Albert Seaton; a sister, Thelma Shields; and a grandchild.
Survivors include a son, Earl (Chet) Edward Purcell of Louisville; two daughters, Elma L. Wilkerson of Shepherdsville, Ky., and Marilyn Wiggins of Altamont, Ill.; a sister, Beatrice Goldman of Rodanthe, N.C.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Aug. 6, at 1 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville.
Officiant: Pastor James Moore.
