Shirley M. Chism

Shirley May Chism, 69, Corydon, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Nov. 16, 1937, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Edwin and Bessie Lucille Daugherty Fancher.
She was a retired medical transcriber at Kleinert Kutz in Louisville, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and VFW Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Corydon.
Survivors include her husband, Charles (Mike) Chism, and a sister, Sarah Adkins of Clarksville.
Visitation: Wednesday, Aug. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a rosary service at 7 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Officiant: Father Dan Atkins.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church or VFW Post 2950.
