Wilma L. Anderson
Wilma L. Rowe Anderson, 81, New Middletown, died Sunday, June 17, 2007, at her home.
Born Dec. 22, 1925, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Otto S. and Carrie E. Mason Rowe.
She was a homemaker, and a member of New Middletown United Methodist Church and New Middletown Ladies Aide.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lucille Anderson-Summers; a son, Roger Anderson; three brothers, Kenneth, Raymond and Roswell Rowe; two sisters, Mary Shireman and Bonnie Feller; and three infant children.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Walter Anderson Jr.; three sons, Randy, Rickie and Mark Anderson, all of New Middletown; five daughters, Judy Ward, Pam Lawson and Sandy Morris, all of New Middletown, Jackie Craig of Lanesville and Connie Voyles of Corydon; two sisters, Doris Crone of Corydon and Betty Kepley of Mottown; 39 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and Thursday, June 21, after 9 a.m. at New Middletown United Methodist Church.
Funeral: Thursday, June 21, at 11 a.m. at the church with burial to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Ted Chalk.
Pallbearers: Lyn and Steve Summers, Walter Stonecipher, Joey and Justin Ward, Walter, Kevin, Rickie Jr. and Chad Anderson, Jeremy Voyles, Toby Lawson and Jeffery Morris.
Honorary pallbearers: Jordan Morris, Chris Anderson, Sgt. Andrew Craig and Fred Gardner.
