Helen R. Lofton
Helen Ruth Jackson Lofton, 79, Depauw, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Wedgewood Healthcare Center in Clarksville.
Born in Depauw, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Goldie Seacat.
She was a homemaker and a member of Fredericksburg Church of Christ.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Norman F. Jackson and Vernon A. Lofton; a brother, Quinton S. Seacat; and a stepson, Ray V. Lofton.
Survivors include a son, Terry Jackson of Fosterburg, Ill.; three daughters, Rhonda Rhoads of Corydon, Vickie Seniker of Bunker Hill, Ill., and Sherry L. Knight of New Salisbury; a brother, Carl Seacat of New Albany; three sisters, Larcy Roll of Corydon, Irene Barnes of Boonville and Mayme Howell of Bloomfield; a stepdaughter, Virginia Kay Frakes of Corydon; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, June 19, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, June 20, after 10 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Wednesday, June 20, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Palmyra Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Chris Seniker, Derrick Delaney, Jacob Baker, James Keller, Cole Cochran and Sherrill Wolfe.
