Louise E. Ferree

Louise E. Ferree, 84, New Albany, formerly of New Middletown, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born March 8, 1923, in Danielson, Conn., she was the daughter of the late George and Eva Charron.
She was a homemaker and a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New Middletown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer A. Ferree Sr.; a daughter, Theresa; a brother, George Charron Jr.; and a granddaughter, Megan Ferree.
Survivors include four sons, Karl, Dr. Homer Jr., Lawrence and James Ferree; six daughters, Martha Saulman, Rosa Warren, Gloria Chambers, Bertha Young, Diane Ferree and Theresa Selvaggi; a sister, Madelyn Schuller; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown and from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Providence Retirement Home Chapel in New Albany.
Prayer service: Friday, June 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Providence Retirement Home.
Funeral: Saturday, June 9, at 9:30 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New Middletown with burial in the church cemetery. Officiants: Fathers Dan Atkins and Ken Gering.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Providence Retirement Home or American Diabetes Association.
