Neely M. Brown

Neely M. Brown, 80, Corydon, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Leavenworth, he was the son of the late Ray E. and Hazel M. Pate Brown.
He was a retired carpenter at James L. Shireman Inc. in Corydon, was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and was a member of American Legion Post 123 in Corydon and George Rogers Clark Disabled American Veterans Post 16 in New Albany.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Earleen Engleman.
Survivors include two brothers, Darrell E. Brown of Corydon and Delmar L. Brown of Lacrosse, Wis.; and a sister, Reba S. Brown of Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, June 4, at 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, both in Corydon.
Pallbearers: Darrell Brown Jr., Mark Brown, Mike Kirchgessner, Randall Brown, DeNeil Brown and Harlan Fisher.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Diabetes Association.
