Larry K. Eastridge

Larry Keith Eastridge, 58, Taswell, died Friday, May 11, 2007, at 8:40 p.m. at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born Nov. 23, 1948, in Huntingburg, he was the son of Thelma Tucker of Taswell and the late Howard Eastridge.
He was a teacher for 34 years for Crawford County schools, where he taught social studies and driver’s education and was a guidance counselor; was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church in Taswell, where he was a deacon; was president of Fairview Cemetery Board; a member of the English Elementary Alumni Foundation; and a former board member of the Crawford County Community Foundation.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Diane Lawson; a son, Scott Eastridge of Taswell; a daughter, Traci Kerns of Taswell; a brother, Dr. Mark Eastridge of Corydon; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, May 14, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 15, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English and after 12 noon at Fairview General Baptist Church in Taswell.
Funeral: Tuesday, May 15, at 1 p.m. at the church with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Novy Newkirk.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Larry K. Eastridge Scholarship Fund in care of Community First Bank or Fairview General Baptist Church.
