Rose M. Johnson
Rose Mary Johnson, 67, Corydon, died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born July 18, 1939, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Rose Nelson Lain.
She worked in day camp hospitality at the YMCA of Harrison County.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry, Laris, Louis and Gene, and two sisters, Pansey and Virginia.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas C. Johnson; two sons, Eddie and Gerald A. Reed, both of Corydon; a daughter, Lisa M. Fisher of Corydon; a sister, Betty Duvall of Louisville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 1, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 2, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Webster Oglesby.
Pallbearers: Gene, Bradley, Cody and Daniel Fisher, Terry Schmelz and Dale Melcher.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
