James A. Wright

James Allen Wright, 62, Eckerty, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at 1 a.m. at his home.
Born Nov. 12, 1944, in Perry County, he was the son of the late Murrel Wright and Anna Bell Hoffman.
He worked 26 years for Jasper Desks and was a member of Bethel Christian Church in Doolittle Mills.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, the former Zaddie Norman; four stepchildren, Marvin Lee Smith of Liberty, Ky., Brenda Gail Strohmeyer of Jasper, and Norma Jean Buckles and John William Smith, both of Eckerty; three brothers, David Wright of Uniontown, Marvin Wright of Eckerty and Kenny Wright of English; three sisters, Brenda Neighbors of English, and Mary Catherine and Rita Gayle Underhill, both of Evansville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, April 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 19, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Thursday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Doolittle Mills Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Thomas Nixon.
