Robert J. Pindell

Robert J. Pindell, 91, Corydon, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, at his home.
A native of Laconia, born July 27, 1915, he was the son of the late David and Cora Eckart Pindell.
He was a salesman for the National Automobile Association, a member of Corydon Presbyterian Church, F&AM Pisgah Lodge 32 in Corydon, the Scottish Rite, Shriners, VFW Post 2950 in Corydon, and the American Legion, and was a disabled Army veteran of World War II, having earned a Purple Heart.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Susie King; two brothers, Cort and Clifford Pindell; and a sister, Mildred Pindell.
Survivors include his wife, the former Norma Trobaugh; a brother, Charles Pindell of Laconia; two sisters, Marylea Alexander and Rozella Shireman Blevins, both of Corydon; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, April 17, from 1 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 18, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Masonic Service: Tuesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral: Wednesday, April 18, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Scott Hill.
Pallbearers: Robert King, Danny Buckley, Don Long, Roger Alexander, J.W. Miller and Jerry Frederick.
