Barbara E. Vaughn

Barbara E. Lamb Vaughn, 79, Floyds Knobs, died Friday, April 13, 2007, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
She was the former owner of Bun Boy Restaurant in Salem, owner of a beauty salon, a former cook at various restaurants and a member of Chapel Hill Christian Church in Floyds Knobs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth G. and Bertha N. Smith Lamb; a grandson, Austin Lee Acrey; her former husband, Paul C. Nolot; and four brothers, Buren W., Dale S., Paul B. and Cecil A. Lamb.
Survivors include four children, Kenneth E. Nolot of Floyds Knobs, Carol A. Nolot of New Albany, Paula A. Platten of Iowa and Barbara A. Acrey of Alabama; two brothers, Palmer and Ralph Lamb; a sister, Margaret Atchley; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Generations Funeral Home in New Albany.
Funeral: Monday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with burial Tuesday, April 17, at 11 a.m. in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Floyds Knobs.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church or Hospice and Palliative Care of Southern Indiana.
