Roger G. Richert, 73, Corydon, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at his home.
Born May 11, 1933, in New Albany, he was the son of the late George and Jacie Best Richert.
He was a self-employed painter, a member of Zoar United Methodist Church and a Navy veteran of the Korean Era.
Survivors include his wife, the former Nancy Miller; two sons, Michael Richert of Brazil and Patrick Richert of Clarksville; a stepson, Paul Rowley of Corydon; a sister, Pamela Reynolds of Pensecola, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, April 5, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday, April 6, after 9 a.m. Friday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiants: The Revs. Daniel Payton, Webster Oglesby and Glenda Riggs.
Pallbearers: Kalin and Dylan Davison, Alex, Josh and Jason Rowley, and Elizabeth Richert.
The family suggest memorial gifts to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
