Anita (Joyce) Reed

Anita (Joyce) Reed, 72, Central Barren, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007.
Born July 22, 1934, she was preceded in death by her mother, Irene, and a brother, Bill White.
She worked at the old ammunition plant before becoming a telephone operator for Indiana Bell, then South Central Bell, where she retired as a bell pioneer. She was a member of Central Barren United Methodist Church and the Lions Club.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Gary; two sons, Tony and Terry Richards; four daughters, Vicki Richards, Mona Blessinger, Lisa Richards and Angie Hinton; three sisters, Alyce Frederick, Wanda Simpson and Lee Ann Page; a brother, Darrell White; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, April 1, from noon to 8 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Monday, April 2, at noon at Central Barren United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
