Donald E. Fulkerson
Donald E. Fulkerson, 78, Corydon, died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
Born July 7, 1928, in Salem, Ill., he was the son of the late John Thomas and Gladys Evelyn Johnson Fulkerson.
He was a retired loan officer at the old First Federal Savings and Loan in Corydon and a retired Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, the former Patricia Rinkus; three sons, Vance Fulkerson of Phoenix, Tony Bacigalupo of Fishers and Joe Bacigalupo of Louisville; three daughters, Deb Shaver of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Gina Tilton of Avon, Ohio, and Leah McFarland of Crandall; two brothers, Robert and John Fulkerson, both of Corydon; a sister, Delma Carman of Milltown; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
His body is to be donated to the Indiana University School of Medical Science in Bloomington.
An informal memorial service will be held Saturday, March 31, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Don Fulkerson Memorial Scholarship Fund at First Harrison Bank or at the funeral home.
