Mark Hamblin

Mark Hamblin, 78, Sebring, Fla., formerly of Jeffersonville, died Monday, March 5, 2007.
Born Aug. 22, 1928, in Krypton, Ky., he was the son of Taylor and Lydia Mullins Hamblin.
He as a civilian employee with the federal government, working with defense contracts, was retired from the Air Force, having served during the Korean War, and was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Sebring.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Hamblin; three sons, Jim Hamblin of Melbourne, Fla., Jon Hamblin of Seymour and Mike Hamblin of Georgetown; a daughter, Becky Winstead of Louisville; four brothers, Jim Hamblin of Hazard, Ky., George Hamblin of Xenia, Ohio, Dishman Hamblin of Sparta, Tenn., and Coy Hamblin of Lexington, Ky.; three sisters, LaRue Davis of Madison, Louise Hurt of Richmond, Ky., and Carlee Stidham of Hazard; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, March 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany (Charlestown Road).
Funeral: Saturday, March 10, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
