Harmon completes a rare sweep

Just a few months removed from winning the grand prize in The Corydon Democrat’s football pick’ems game (and two tickets to an Indianapolis Colts football game), Richard Harmon, Corydon, nailed 48 of 64 (.750) boys basketball sectional winners to capture this newspaper’s Grand Prize Contest.
Harmon, who had two weekly wins this year, edged out three other entries that had 47 correct picks and one that had 46 correct selections, and one that had 45 correct picks.
For his efforts, Harmon receives the $100 top prize.
Sports Editor Alan Stewart went 49-15 (.765) with his tournament selections, and 63-36 during the regular season (.636).
This year’s weekly winners should receive their prizes in the next week or two.
Many thanks go out to all hoopheads who participated in the contest this season!
