Tyler W. Tilley

Tyler William Tilley, 20, Summerfield, N.C., died unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007.
Born Oct. 27, 1986, in Greensboro, N.C., he was the son of Kenneth (Kenny) and Sherry Stutts Tilley of Summerfield.
He attended Northwest High School and later James Madison, was employed by the U.S. Postal Service at the bulk mail center, was a volunteer firefighter, assisted with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in New Orleans, was a volunteer at Urban Ministry and attended Guilford College United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lloyd Cabol Tilley.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Devin Tilley, and his grandparents, William and Shirley Stutts of Greensboro and Wilma Schlensker Tilley of Walnut Cove, N.C., formerly of Milltown.
Funeral: Saturday, Feb. 10, at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel in Greensboro with interment in Greenhill Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Stephen Haines.
