Roscoe Cox
Roscoe Cox, 65, New Albany, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at his home.
A native of Letcher County, Ky., he was a mill worker for Alcoa Aluminum, a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Salem and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Sturgill Cox; a son, Jeffery Lewis Cox of Clarksville; four daughters, Sharon Marie Collard and Sheila Cox, both of Clarksville, Gina Shields of English and Crystal Lovell of New Albany; six brothers, George Cox of Chattanooga, Tenn., Ronald Cox of Blackwater, Va., Kenneth Napier of Baxter, Ky., Jimmy Napier of Corbin, Ky., Jack Napier of Cleveland and Don Napier of Gray, Ky.; six sisters, Claudine Johnson of Barbourville, Ky., Teresa Vanover and Linda Saylor, both of Cawood, Ky., Debbie Harris and Josephine Middleton, both of Harlan, Ky., and Joyce Scott of Gray, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral: Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarksville followed by burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
