Robert L. Miller

Robert L. (Bob) Miller, 81, Corydon, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Dec. 28, 1925, he was the son of the late Walter (Red) and Alice Carpenter Miller.
He was a former employee of the Town of Corydon, a Navy veteran, and a member of Unity Chapel United Methodist Church near Ramsey and Old Capitol VFW Post 2950 in Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma L. Brown Miller; two daughters, Candace Vincent and Ava Miller; and a sister, Mary Parker.
Survivors include two sons, Robert W. Miller of Corydon and Carl R. Miller of Depauw; four daughters, Carla F. Pennington of Corydon, Linda L. Bolin and Cherrie M. Miller, both of Cloverport, Ky., and Robin T. Goffinet of Tell City; four stepsons, Ronald L. Madden of Greensburg, Melvin E. Madden of Michigan City, Monty V. Madden of Milltown and Danny R. Madden of Jeffersonville; two stepdaughters, Lora A. Edwards of Elizabeth and Barbara J. Stepro of Corydon; two brothers, James E. (Jim) Miller of Corydon and Elmer E. Miller of Columbus, Ga.; 25 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 11, after 8 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
