Eunice E. Simpson

Eunice E. Simpson, 80, Elizabeth, Sunday morning, Dec. 17, 2006, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born April 15, 1926, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Ada Taylor Klaas.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in Elizabeth for 42 years and was involved in several charitable organizations.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil C. Simpson.
Survivors include three sons, Calvin H. Simpson of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Clinton G. Simpson and Dean C. Simpson, both of Elizabeth; a daughter, Tana L. Miller of Elizabeth; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Dec. 18, after 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, Dec. 20, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
Officiant: The Rev. Richard Goodwin.
Pallbearers: Calvin Simpson Jr., Trevor Simpson, Travis Miller, Chad and Cody Simpson, and Coy Stepro.
Honorary pallbearers: Jaimee Cox and Gary Snyder.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant Building Fund.
