Vernon Wagoner

Vernon Wesley Wagoner, 76, Borden, formerly of Sellersburg, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, at his home.
He was a retired machinist for the old International Harvester Co. and a member of Borden First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Paul Wagoner, and two sisters, Katherine Lawson and Clarice Ooley.
Survivors include his wife, Dolly Torp Wagoner; four sons, Bob Wagoner of New Castle, Ky., Dan Wagoner of Jeffersonville, Tom Wagoner of Sellersburg and Kip Wagoner of New Albany; a daughter, Ava Chastain of New Albany; seven stepchildren, Mike Torp of South Dakota, Bonnie Naville and Peter Torp, both of Floyds Knobs, Chris Torp of Lebanon, Paul Torp of Louisville, Patti Torp of Bloomington and Laurie Jacobs of New Albany; a brother, George Wagoner of Louisville; 25 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 12, at First Christian Church with interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery, both in Borden.
Arrangements: Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
