Leonard L. Cassidy, 85, Tell City, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
Born March 30, 1921, in Apalona, he was the son of the late Mark and Mary Anderson Cassidy.
He was a graduate of Tell City High School, and a self-employed farmer and owner of Cassidy Sawmill and Timber.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Basil and Russell Cassidy, and an infant grandson, Max Lee Cassidy.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former Jeanette Hinton; two sons, Mark Cassidy of New Albany and Jack Cassidy of Depauw; a sister, Naomi Miller of Oklahoma; and three grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Dec. 4, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City.
The family suggests memorial gifts to American Heart Association or Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
