Julia C. Bierman

Julia C. Bierman, 74, Floyds Knobs, died Monday morning, Nov. 20, 2006, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.
Born in Greenville, on March 17, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Covert and Clara Kiesler Beach.
She was retired from PNC Bank, a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, and a member of Confraternity of Christian Mothers at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Arthur A. Bierman Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol J. McLean and Annette M. Lipps, both of New Albany; two sons, Gregory A. Bierman of Mooresville and Gary J. Bierman Sr. of Floyds Knobs; four brothers, Herman, Louis, Robert and William Beach; two sisters, Sr. Catherine Beach and Kathleen Kruer; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 21, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 22, after 9 a.m. at Generations Funeral Home in New Albany.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church followed by burial in the church cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
