Christopher L. Ory

Christopher Lee Ory, 27, Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic crash near Magnet.
Born in Harrison County, on Nov. 15, 1978, he was the son of Ruth Etienne Ory of Mount Pleasant and Charles Edward (Eddie) Ory of Clarksville.
He was a graduate of Crawford County Junior-Senior High School, where he was employed as a substitute teacher. He also had been employed three years at Waupaca Foundry in Tell City and worked with his mother in Ory Lawn Care. He was a member of St. Augustine Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Helen Reed Etienne and Mona Irene Ory.
Survivors besides his parents include two sons, Jordan Tyler Ory of Mount Pleasant and Bryce Mitchell Ory of Marengo; a daughter, Ilana Rae Ory of Marengo; a sister, Nicole Marie Ory of Mount Pleasant; and his grandfathers, Justin O. Etienne of Tell City and Julian S. Ory of Battletown, Ky.
Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City.
Funeral home: Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold followed by burial in Old Chapel Cemetery near Mount Pleasant.
Officiant: The Rev. Bernard Etienne.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Jordan, Bryce and Ilana Ory Fund or the Christopher Ory Scholarship Fund for Crawford County Junior-Senior High School, both in care of Fifth Third Bank in Tell City.
