Nina Hiser

Nina Hiser, 51, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Harrison County, she was born Feb. 5, 1955, to the late Thomas and Eleanor Marsh Lohrstorfer.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jon B. Hiser.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Hiser; her sons, Jeremy (Meg) and Jansen (Steph) Hiser, both of Lanesville; her brothers, Tom Lohrstorfer of Borden, Jeff Lohrstorfer of Baker, La., Chris Lohrstorfer of Raymond, Miss., and Scott Lohrstorfer of Corydon; her sisters, Julie Hedden of Elizabeth, Missy Goodhue of Palmyra and Lisa Sturgil of Corydon; and her granddaughter, Lori.
Visitation: Thursday, Nov. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 4, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. at her church with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiants: Pastors Christopher Truelsen and Richard A. Heinz.
Organist: Parvin Lambertus.
Pallbearers: Tom, Jeff, Chris and Scott Lohrstorfer, Darin Dehn and Jeremy Hiser.
Arrangements: Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the St. John’s Lutheran Church Building on Faith Fund or the American Cancer Society.
